Description
Seddiner See is one of the top golf courses in Germany.
Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Designer of the Südplatz, designed the course by taking advantage of the natural structures of the area in order to convey the feeling that the golf course has always been there. The Südplatz is also very nice to play. Fairways are mostly wide and lined with trees, shrubs and bushes. There is often water, but mainly lateral, and rarely frontal. Numerous sand bunkers can be found on the fairway as well as around the greens. There is little undulation, as the terrain is mostly flat.
Nordplatz - Architect Rainer Preißmann has succeeded in creating a golf great course, which is challenging for good players, but also gives weak players a chance to improve. The fairways are wide, lined with trees or low bushes, which are at far enough not to be in the way. Numerous water areas complete the picturesque scenery.
