The Royal Selangor Golf Club

The private Royal Selangor Golf Club is located in the middle of Kuala Lumpur not far from the Petronas Twin Towers. The Old Course is very similar to the New Course – long holes on flat terrain, though it is a bit more varied, and therefore more interesting to play. A few times - especially in the second half of the course - water comes into play. On hole 10 you shoot directly opposite the Petronas Twin Towers. Hole 17, par-3, is also very interesting. It has a raised green protected by bunkers, and surrounded by water on three sides. The New Course is fair to play; the terrain is mostly flat and are holes are relatively long. There are many sand bunkers, not only around the greens but also along the fairways. Water comes in the form of regulated streams that occasionally cross the course, as well as some ponds. The setting is very beautiful and the vegetation is tropical. A very pleasant course.
